Renovations are complete and Main Lodge at Hawkeye Hunting Club is open for guests. The lodge boasts 8 bedrooms with attached bathrooms, a great room with two story fireplace wall and open views of one of our private lakes,a kitchen, sunken bar and TV viewing areas. The property's community pool and spa are right outside the bedroom wing. Each bedroom features two XL double beds with DIRECTV service. Each pair of rooms has a connecting door, making stays family friendly. Rental is for the whole lodge so bring your family and friends and enjoy all Hawkeye and East Texas has to offer! Renovations include new metal roof, ac/heating system, bathrooms, kitchen, electric, and lots of new comfy furniture!

Summary: The property was outstanding. Check in and check out were simple. The kitchen was huge with everything we needed. We had 12 people ranging from 3 years to 75 years old. There were activities for everybody. We used the firepit, the deck, the pool, and the lake. The bedroom set up was perfect for a large group. Our host was available via email and promptly answered our questions. We felt like we were deep in the woods, but town was actually close by. We were at Main Lodge. We will go back.

Summary: We will definitely being staying again. Property was stunning! We stayed in the Main Lodge, which was perfect! Everyone in our group had their own room. The early birds didn't have to worry about disturbing the late sleepers since the common area was separate from the rooms(Motel style). Our only complaint but not a deal breaker, is that there were gun shots well after 10pm at night 2 nights in a row and we did have children who were trying to sleep. Other downside was the lodge next to us was up blaring music until 3 am one of those same nights. If you were in a room on the back you didn't hear it but the rooms on the front it was definitely an issue. All of that aside, we had a wonderful time and absolutely loved the property!

Summary: This was our second visit for a family reunion and we enjoyed it again. The pool is great for kids and the shared area is big enough and comfortable for lots of activities. We had 10 adults and 6 kids under 10.

Summary: We enjoyed our time at Hawkeye. Our grandchildren loved the swimming, fishing and just being together. The guys went skeet shooting. Beautiful place.

Summary: My family had 3 of the lodges for a weekend for our wedding in the area. All the lodges are beautiful and great amenities. Kids and adults had fun walking in the woods, playing by the lake and the fire pits at night. We will be back! Thank you Travis and all the people that work with him. They’re very helpful and made our stay a memorable one. Will recommend to all our family and friends.

Summary: My wife, our children with their spouses and our grandchildren spent three days at Hawkeye Hunting Club in the Main Lodge. We had a wonderful time! The accommodations were excellent, from the well stocked kitchen to each of the private bedrooms/baths. We enjoyed swimming in the pool just outside the bedroom wing, hiking around the beautiful property, and fishing and canoeing in the lake just behind the lodge. This year several in our family also decided to try skeet shooting. Our guide was wonderful - quite knowledgeable as well as extremely patient with our inexperience. It was a very enjoyable visit and we plan to return next next year for our third visit!
